Dr. Adrienne LeVasseur received a Bachelor of Science with Honours, Subject of Specialization in Research, at Queen’s University. She published results from her research at the Queen’s University Eye Movement Laboratory before obtaining her Doctor of Optometry from the University of Waterloo. She practiced in Ottawa and served as Vice President for the Ottawa Society of Optometrists before moving to Calgary. She has extensive experience working with refractive surgeons as well as in general family optometry, and serves as a member of the Canadian Examiners in Optometry. Dr. LeVasseur has traveled to Mexico, Costa Rica, and the Philippines to provide eye care to underprivileged populations.
Adrienne is a second-generation optometrist who claims that her father’s obvious enjoyment for his career motivated her to pursue optometry. She is pleased to offer eye examinations in French and Spanish as well as English. Dr. LeVasseur enjoys the variety of outdoor activities that Calgary and surrounding areas have to offer. She takes great interest in preventative health and teaches fitness classes in her spare time.
